AIDA West Bank Coordinator

About the role

The AIDA West Bank Coordinator will lead the coordination of AIDA’s programming, operations, advocacy, communications and information‑management systems across the occupied Palestinian territory. Based in Ramallah or Jerusalem, the role works within Oxfam Novib’s framework to strengthen the collective influence of international NGOs and national partners in the West Bank.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate collaboration among more than 80 member NGOs, national partners and the AIDA Secretariat.
• Lead joint advocacy initiatives and represent AIDA in humanitarian coordination fora.
• Oversee operational challenges, ensuring programme effectiveness and quality.
• Manage communications and information‑management tools, producing regular reports and updates.
• Liaise with donors, government bodies and other stakeholders to promote policy influence.

Required profile

• University degree (relevant field).
• Minimum 5 years experience in INGO humanitarian operations, advocacy, communications or programme implementation in the oPt.
• Proven ability to work in a complex, volatile humanitarian/recovery context.
• Strong understanding of political, development, humanitarian and human‑rights issues in the West Bank.
• Experience with humanitarian coordination systems and fora.

• No specific technical tools required; strong coordination and advocacy competencies are essential.
