Humanitarian Paramedic / Nurse – Gaza Field Hospitals

About the role

CADUS e.V. is seeking experienced paramedics and nurses to join its emergency relief program in Gaza. You will work alongside local partners in field hospitals, providing critical care and supporting medical evacuations in a challenging humanitarian environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver emergency medical care in MedEvac, CasEvac, Emergency Response Team, and PRCS Field Hospital settings.
• Perform advanced airway management, chest decompression, and administer emergency medications.
• Provide critical care transport services, including infusions and mechanical ventilation.
• Conduct independent interventions such as IV cannulation, chest drain insertion, and POCUS examinations.
• Interpret X‑rays without radiologist support and manage prolonged patient care until evacuation.
• Collaborate with national and international partners, adapting to rotating schedules and austere conditions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience after graduation as a paramedic or nurse.
• Prior experience in humanitarian or austere settings is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible 5‑week in‑country rotations and adapt to changing entry/exit procedures.
• Not a Palestinian national (international position).
