Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to lead the design, implementation, and analysis of M&E activities for projects aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable children. The role combines data management, field monitoring, and partnership support to ensure high‑quality evidence drives program decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project M&E plan and associated databases.
• Design quantitative and qualitative data collection tools aligned with project indicators.
• Train and supervise data collectors, ensuring consistent use of M&E tools.
• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from surveys, tests, and observation tools.
• Lead focus group discussions and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Produce dashboards, infographics, and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor implementation, identify gaps, and provide coaching to implementing partners.
• Ensure ethical standards and data quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Experience in monitoring, evaluation, and data analysis within humanitarian or development projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to data accuracy and consistency.
• Ability to work collaboratively with partners and provide technical support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
