Risk & Regulatory Internship – Financial Risk (Palestine)

About the role

This internship offers a hands‑on experience in Deloitte's Risk Advisory practice, focusing on regulatory and financial risk in the Middle East. You will work on data and regulatory reporting projects, supporting clients as they transition between accounting frameworks and comply with regional regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in IFRS GAP and impact assessments for client engagements.
• Provide advisory support for clients moving from IFRS for SME to full IFRS adoption.
• Deliver complex accounting and reporting advice to public and private sector clients.
• Support the development of methodologies, tools, and thought‑leadership materials.
• Collaborate with senior team members and help junior colleagues where needed.

Required profile

• Ability to take ownership of tasks while supporting team members.
• Interest in regulatory and financial risk topics.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with IFRS GAP/impact assessments.
• Knowledge of IFRS for SME and full IFRS frameworks.
• Understanding of Middle East accounting practices and regulations.
• Capability to provide complex accounting and reporting advice.
