Principal Training Centre – Ramallah Women Training Center (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Principal Training Centre will lead the Ramallah Women Training Center (RWTC) under UNRWA’s Education Programme. This fixed‑term position is open to internal candidates and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the centre’s operations, programmes and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee development and implementation of training programmes, projects and daily operations, including financial, supply, transport, boarding, feeding, maintenance and security functions.
• Manage curriculum delivery, assessment and evaluation, and advise on programme design and new course development based on identified needs.
• Represent the centre at conferences, workshops and meetings with ministries, NGOs and labour‑market stakeholders, maintaining strong partnerships.
• Promote trainee discipline, well‑being and morale; ensure access to health services, recreational and co‑curricular activities.
• Integrate inclusive education and human‑rights principles across all TVET activities and centre operations.
• Prepare and supervise operational reports and contribute to quality‑assurance processes.

Required profile

• Reports directly to the Chief Field Education Programme and receives technical guidance from the Chief TVET and Youth Division.
• Supervises professional and support staff within the training centre.
• Internal UNRWA candidate with experience in managing education or vocational training centres.
