Senior Opinion Survey Analyst (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Senior Opinion Survey Analyst to support DG MENA in the communication outreach of EU policies across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf. The role is part of a short‑term, on‑demand pool of experts for a 36‑month project.

Key responsibilities

• Design quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, including opinion surveys and focus groups.
• Develop questionnaires, discussion guides and sampling strategies.
• Analyse survey data and focus‑group findings to identify trends, perceptions and communication opportunities.
• Prepare analytical reports, presentations and evidence‑based recommendations.
• Support audience segmentation and behavioural insights for communication campaigns.
• Advise on research methodology, data quality and interpretation of findings.
• Present research results to project teams, DG MENA and other stakeholders.
• Contribute research insights to communication strategies, campaign development and policy outreach activities.

Required profile

• Degree in statistics, social sciences or market research.
• Fluent English.
• Minimum 5 years general experience in survey/opinion research.
• At least 3 years specific experience designing and analysing surveys and focus groups.
• Regional research experience in the MENA area is an asset.
