Support Services Team Leader

About the role

The Support Services Team Leader oversees HR & Administration and Supply Chain functions at the Gaza Base, ensuring efficient, compliant support for programme implementation. The role works closely with the Base Manager and Finance Specialist to optimise operational performance and resource use.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage HR, Administration and Supply Chain teams, planning and delivering services to support programmes.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, contracts, performance management and staff well‑being in line with DRC policies.
• Manage procurement, logistics, fleet and warehouse operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods and compliance with donor requirements.
• Monitor operational performance, identify efficiency gains and support business continuity planning.
• Coordinate budget planning and expenditure monitoring with the Finance Specialist.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar leadership role within an INGO or humanitarian setting.
• Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Full professional proficiency in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Cost planning, budgeting and financial reporting.
• HR management processes (recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisal).
• Procurement procedures and logistics management.
• Knowledge of major donors (UN agencies, ECHO, SIDA, JICA, CDCS).
