Team Lead - Gaza

About the role

UK-Med is expanding its emergency health response in Gaza and seeks an experienced Team Lead to provide strategic and operational leadership. You will be the on‑ground representative, ensuring programme delivery in a highly complex humanitarian environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of health programmes across Gaza.
• Manage an international, multidisciplinary team and ensure staff safety and wellbeing.
• Coordinate with local authorities, NGOs, and UN agencies.
• Drive programme delivery while maintaining operational excellence.
• Travel regionally to Amman, Jordan as required.

Required profile

• Proven humanitarian leader with extensive experience in emergency health programming.
• Demonstrated ability to manage international teams in insecure contexts.
• Strong capacity to navigate complex coordination and operational challenges.

• Competitive monthly salary between £5,500 and £6,300.
• Full‑time, fixed‑term contract until March 2027 (potential extension).
