WASH Program Manager (M/F) - Gaza

About the role

Solidarités International, an international humanitarian aid association active in Gaza since February 2024, is recruiting a WASH Program Manager (M/F) for a 7-month mission in three rotations, starting around 15 December 2026. The postholder implements the objectives set out in the operation proposals and oversees the operational teams assigned to the programme.

Key responsibilities

• Structure and strengthen collaboration with national and international NGOs
• Lead programme-level coordination with the WASH Cluster
• Ensure project management tools are accurate, complete and regularly updated, with attention to targets, activity tracking and budget versus actual expenditure
• Archive and organise Means of Verification (MoVs) and supporting documentation
• Finalise and consolidate programme strategies and operational modalities for key activities such as distributions, water trucking and blade installation
• Support the mission in reviewing ongoing activities, improving quality and adapting approaches to field needs and monitoring findings

Required profile

• 5 years of experience in the humanitarian sector
• 3-4 years on a similar position
• Fluent English, written and spoken; Arabic is an asset
• Experience in a protracted crisis context and in partnership with local organisations
• Prior experience in Palestine or with Solidarités International is an asset

Required skills

• Solid experience in WASH emergency/early recovery programming
• Technical expertise in shelter/construction and water and solid waste management networks are assets
• Good analytical skills, proactive and solution-oriented approach
• Strong management, organisational and communication skills, ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapid change
• MS Office, excellent Excel; GIS desirable

What we offer

• Salaried position, from EUR 2,365 gross per month depending on experience, plus a monthly per diem of USD 750

• Rotation system with 14 days off Gaza every 8 weeks
