Junior Photographer & Photo Editor (EU Project)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Junior Photographer and Photo Editor to support its EU communication outreach project across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf. The role involves providing high‑quality visual content for conferences, workshops, press events and other outreach activities, helping to strengthen the visibility of EU policies and initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Capture high‑quality photographs during conferences, workshops, press events, official visits and other communication activities.
• Produce visual content for websites, social media platforms, publications and promotional materials.
• Edit, retouch and optimise photographs for both print and digital use.
• Manage image selection, cataloguing and archiving in line with project requirements.
• Ensure all visual material complies with EU branding, communication and copyright guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with communication teams to support storytelling and campaign objectives.
• Provide photographic coverage of high‑level institutional events and stakeholder engagement activities.

Required profile

• Professional training (or equivalent) in photography.
• Access to professional photography equipment.
• Working proficiency in English.
• At least 2 years of general photography experience.
• Minimum 1 year of specific experience in press, event or corporate photography.

Required skills

• Photography (event and press coverage).
• Photo editing, retouching and optimisation.
• Image cataloguing and archiving.
• Use of professional photography equipment.
• Working knowledge of EU branding and copyright guidelines.
• English language proficiency (working level).
