Operations and Logistics Manager – Gaza Field Presence

About the role

All Hands and Hearts is seeking an experienced Operations and Logistics Manager to establish and lead its field presence in Gaza. The role focuses on coordinating the delivery of life‑saving assistance, managing logistics, and ensuring compliance with humanitarian standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the establishment of All Hands and Hearts field presence in Gaza.
• Plan, manage, and oversee logistics for food, medical, and relief supplies in coordination with partners and authorities.
• Secure movement permits, border access, and customs clearances by working closely with UN agencies, NGOs, and local authorities.
• Monitor, track, and report distribution of commodities to civilian communities.
• Assist in launching community‑level humanitarian programs such as food distribution, livelihoods, shelters, education, and health.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Relations or a related field.
• Minimum 10 + years of logistics, humanitarian, development or private‑sector experience in Gaza.
• Proven track record in cross‑border logistics, customs clearance, and humanitarian access negotiations.
• Strong understanding of humanitarian principles and UN/NGO cluster coordination mechanisms.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to undergo a thorough background and security check and commitment to neutrality.
