Accounting Specialist

About the role

As an Accounting Specialist you will safeguard the financial health of the company by managing either accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a blend of both, depending on your experience. You will collaborate closely with the accounting team to ensure timely invoice processing, accurate payment posting, and clean financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately using QuickBooks and internal systems.
• Review, code, and prioritize invoices across departments.
• Perform vendor statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Post customer payments promptly and monitor outstanding balances.
• Reconcile customer accounts and support collections when needed.
• Assist with month‑end close activities for both AP and AR.
• Leverage digital workflows, automation, and AI‑supported tools to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfortable working with cloud‑based systems and digital processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in QuickBooks.
• Advanced Excel skills.
