Audit & Assurance Internship – Controls Assurance (Ramallah)

About the role

Deloitte is offering a structured internship in Audit & Assurance, focusing on Controls Assurance, based in Ramallah. The role provides hands‑on experience with audit documentation, internal control reviews and the application of emerging AI tools in a professional services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in performing analytical reviews of audit documents.
• Review client accounting, operating procedures and internal control systems.
• Identify accounting and auditing issues and conduct research to resolve them.
• Provide recommendations for improved controls and enhanced business efficiency.
• Demonstrate practical exposure to AI tools and explain AI‑supported outcomes.
• Apply sound judgement and integrity when using AI, respecting confidentiality and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Pursuing a degree in accounting or a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
• Team‑oriented mindset, able to work with professionals at all levels.
• Fluent in English (reading, speaking, writing); bilingual Arabic/English preferred.
• Strong digital mindset with curiosity to adopt new technologies.
