Complex Maintenance Mechanic – 2nd Shift

About the role

The Complex Maintenance Mechanic works the 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 1:00 AM) to keep large manufacturing equipment running smoothly. The role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor and other systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections, cleaning, oiling, lubricating, and belt changes.
• Diagnose root causes of unexpected breakdowns and execute rapid repairs to minimize downtime.
• Record damaged or worn parts, order replacements, and install them as needed.
• Prepare reports documenting work performed and maintain organized shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with managers and collaborate with department heads on new product introductions and equipment modifications.
• Identify improvement opportunities, present them to leadership, and participate in implementation.
• Wear required PPE at all times to support a zero‑accident culture.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certificate in welding, maintenance, electrical or related field preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual ability is a plus.
• Customer‑centric attitude, high energy, and sense of urgency.
