Complex Maintenance Mechanic – 3rd Shift

About the role

The Complex Maintenance Mechanic works the 3rd shift to perform preventative, corrective, and improvement maintenance on large manufacturing equipment such as hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems. The role ensures equipment runs at optimal performance while supporting new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, cleaning, oiling, lubricating, and belt changes.
• Diagnose root causes of unexpected breakdowns and execute rapid repairs to minimize downtime.
• Record damaged or worn parts, order replacements, and install them as needed.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting work performed.
• Maintain shop cleanliness, inventory, and tool organization.
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance with managers and collaborate with department heads on product modifications.
• Implement equipment modifications, run test cycles, and adjust machinery based on test results.
• Identify improvement opportunities and lead or support solution implementation.
• Wear required PPE at all times to promote a zero‑accident culture.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certificate in welding, maintenance, electrical or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual ability is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer‑centric attitude.
