Executive Director – Assisted Living Facility

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Executive Director to lead an assisted‑living facility. The role combines operational oversight, regulatory compliance, and team leadership to ensure residents receive high‑quality care in a safe, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure facility operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Develop and enforce company policies and facility‑specific procedures.
• Maintain accurate resident assessments and documentation.
• Recruit, orient, and retain a high‑performing staff team.
• Oversee admissions, accounts payable/receivable, ancillary services, and payroll.
• Support marketing initiatives and represent the facility with community partners.
• Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and collaboration.
• Handle resident, family, visitor, and staff inquiries and concerns.
• Coordinate resident admissions and onboarding processes.
• Lead ongoing staff training and professional development.

Required profile

• Certification from the applicable state agency.
• Thorough knowledge of assisted‑living regulations and standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building abilities.
• Working knowledge of general accounting, payroll, budgeting, and revenue optimization.
