Founding Field CTO / Solutions Architect

About the role

AI agents are evolving from simple assistants to operators that can propose code, access infrastructure, request credentials, move data, and coordinate enterprise systems. This role helps enterprise buyers make that future legible by turning abstract AI governance risk into concrete authority patterns that technical and non‑technical leaders can understand.

Key responsibilities

• Shape how enterprise teams reason about agent authority, signer boundaries, and receipt‑backed approval.
• Develop the technical narrative for Permission Protocol across CTO, CISO, CCO, CFO, legal, and platform teams.
• Create reference architectures for external authorization within agentic workflows.
• Lead buyer conversations that connect agent execution risk to deployments, code changes, credentials, data mutations, and regulated workflows.
• Provide feedback loops between field discovery and product direction.

Required profile

• Experience explaining complex systems to executives without flattening important technical detail.
• Strong architecture judgment across cloud, CI/CD, identity, security, compliance, or enterprise platforms.
• Comfort mapping messy real‑world workflows into clear control surfaces.
• Ability to earn trust in rooms with technical, compliance, legal, and business stakeholders.
• Clear writing and crisp verbal communication.
