Health Specialist

About the role

An education platform focused on accessible, high-quality learning resources is hiring a full-time, on-site Health Specialist in the Palestinian Authority. The specialist develops and delivers health-related educational content, including workshops, presentations and learning materials that promote physical, mental and occupational health for learners and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver health education content such as workshops, presentations and learning materials
• Provide guidance on health promotion initiatives and support the design of health awareness campaigns
• Collaborate with educational staff to integrate health topics into the platform's programs
• Assess health education needs and offer consultation on health-related questions
• Coordinate with external healthcare providers when necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation of health activities and initiatives
• Ensure health information is evidence-based, culturally appropriate and aligned with local regulations and best practices

Required profile

• Background in medicine or a health-related field
• Relevant academic degree in Public Health, Nursing, Medicine, Health Education or a related discipline
• Experience in health promotion, including designing and implementing awareness campaigns, workshops or preventive health programs
• Ability to work on-site in the Palestinian Authority and coordinate with local health institutions and community organizations

• Strong communication skills to explain health concepts clearly and work with learners, colleagues and partners
• Customer service skills to respond to inquiries and maintain a learner-centered approach
• Knowledge of occupational health practices to support safe learning and working environments
• Organizational skills and attention to detail for planning activities, keeping records and monitoring outcomes
