IT Security Specialist

About the role

The IT Security Specialist will protect organizational systems by monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to security threats while supporting compliance and continuous improvement of security operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security dashboards, alerts, and events; perform log review and analysis.
• Manage security incidents from identification to closure, ensuring proper documentation and SLA compliance.
• Support vulnerability scanning, remediation tracking, and patch compliance.
• Conduct threat hunting using the MITRE ATT&CK framework and develop SIEM use cases.
• Assist with compliance to ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI‑DSS, and CIS Controls, including audit preparation.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of SOC operations, infrastructure security, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Ability to perform root‑cause analysis and drive automation of security processes.
