Production Washroom Operator

About the role

The Production Washroom Operator works as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility, handling the safe and efficient movement of merchandise through the wash and dry cycles. This role ensures equipment is operated correctly, batch tickets are managed accurately, and all safety protocols are followed.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and record machine safety devices before each operation; report any issues to the supervisor.
• Load washers and dryers using slings, verify batch tickets, and position equipment correctly.
• Enter batch weight data into the SOFTROL system and select appropriate wash formulas.
• Unload cleaned items, manage batch tickets, and transport items to staging areas.
• Check moisture levels, temperature, and load conditions; re‑dry items if necessary.
• Identify and remove damaged slings, maintain a clean work environment, and follow best production practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete required training.
• Basic math proficiency for weight calculations.
• Attention to safety procedures and equipment inspection.
• Physical capability to handle slings, carts, and equipment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the SOFTROL system for data entry.
