About the role
The 2nd Shift Poultry Processing Operator works on a fast‑moving cone line, removing specific parts from whole birds. This position requires strict adherence to safety, animal welfare, and company policies while operating in a cold, damp environment.
Key responsibilities
- Use a knife or scissors to cut and debone chicken carcasses as they move down the line.
- Follow directions and assist in other departments when needed.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management.
- Maintain and use personal protective equipment at all times.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in the poultry industry is preferred.
- Ability to stand for 8‑hour shifts and lift up to 50 lb occasionally.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
- Strong work ethic, honesty, and reliability.
Required skills
- Basic math functions.
