Accounts Receivable Accountant – Paperless Environment

About the role

This role offers the chance to develop high‑level technological skills in a fully paperless environment while autonomously improving departmental processes. As an Accounts Receivable Accountant you will ensure accurate and efficient handling of tenant cash receipts and billing for a technology‑focused real‑estate management company.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily analysis and application of tenant cash receipts and adjustments.
• Process tenant charges via SharePoint, ensuring property‑manager requirements are entered correctly.
• Review and process monthly commercial billing.
• Maintain the paperless file‑management system on SharePoint.
• Reconcile General Ledger accounts and resolve unapplied cash receipts older than 90 days.
• Assist with external audit requests and month‑end close activities.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of Accounts Receivable experience; a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
• Prior customer‑service experience.
• Experience with an ERP system (Yardi Voyager preferred).
• Strong computer skills: Adobe Acrobat X, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel, shortcuts, formulas, VBA).
• Good understanding of accounting principles, GL journaling, cash movement and online banking.
