Audit & Assurance Intern - Controls Assurance, Ramallah

About the role

Deloitte is offering an internship in Audit & Assurance, Controls Assurance, based in Ramallah. The intern gains hands-on exposure to audit work, including reviewing client accounting and internal control procedures, and is expected to show practical familiarity with AI tools through university or graduation projects and day-to-day use.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in performing an analytical review of audit documents
• Review client accounting and operating procedures and systems of internal control
• Identify accounting and auditing issues and carry out research to resolve them
• Provide recommendations for improved controls and better business efficiency

Required profile

• Pursuing a degree in accounting or a related field
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work on several assignments at once
• Ability to work as part of a team with professionals at all levels
• Fluent English (reading, speaking and writing); bilingual Arabic/English candidates preferred

Required skills

• Practical exposure to AI tools, with the ability to explain how they supported outcomes
• Strong digital mindset and willingness to learn and apply firm-approved tools
• Sound judgement and integrity when using AI, including awareness of confidentiality, data handling and ethical use
