About the role
The Ross Township Board is seeking a qualified citizen to serve on the Girtys Run Joint Sewer Authority Board for a five‑year term. This appointed position focuses on policy development and strategic oversight of the sanitary collection system.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and approve policies covering rates, customer service, procurement, and personnel.
- Set short‑ and long‑term goals, objectives, and strategies for asset management, financial security, and customer relations.
- Review and approve the annual operating and capital budgets and monitor progress.
- Monitor overall system performance with the management team, without handling day‑to‑day operations.
- Attend monthly board meetings and attend special meetings as required.
Required profile
- Resident of Ross Township willing to commit to a five‑year term.
- Interest in public policy, infrastructure planning, and community service.
- Ability to work collaboratively with board members and the management team.
