Chief Technology Officer (Remote)

About the role

Nuralix is a health technology company that combines accessible genomics, continuous AI-powered health monitoring and an intelligent action layer into a single platform. It turns lower-cost DNA data into personalized risk insights, connecting long-term genomic information with real-time health signals. The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a full-time remote role leading Nuralix's overall technology vision, execution and innovation roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee software engineering, data and AI infrastructure, system architecture and security to deliver scalable, reliable genomics and health-monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with product, clinical and operations teams to align technology with business strategy, regulatory requirements and user needs.
• Manage and mentor technical teams, prioritize and track projects, evaluate emerging technologies and set standards for development, testing, deployment and quality.
• Contribute to strategic partnerships, fundraising discussions and technical due diligence with external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience leading technical teams, recruiting, mentoring and developing engineering and data talent.
• Knowledge of healthcare, genomics, digital health or other regulated domains, including security, privacy and compliance.
• Track record of working effectively in remote, distributed environments with modern collaboration tools.

Required skills

• Software and product development, with experience building and scaling complex, data-driven platforms.
• IT strategy and architecture, including secure, scalable cloud-based systems and AI/ML integration.
• Project management: planning, prioritization, resource allocation and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication and decision-making, able to turn complex technical topics into clear business and product implications.
