Country Security Manager – Gaza

About the role

Acted is seeking a Country Security Manager to oversee daily security operations across its premises and project sites in Gaza. The role involves continuous monitoring of the security environment, advising senior management, and delivering training to staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and implement Country Security Plans, SOPs and Contingency Plans.
• Manage daily security operations and adapt crisis‑management protocols to local conditions.
• Provide security briefings for new international staff and design training modules for approval.
• Maintain a security network, ensure external representation and report on security incidents.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience working in insecure environments, preferably in the Middle East, Africa or Asia.
• Demonstrated communication, organizational and multi‑tasking abilities under pressure.
• Willingness to live and work in remote areas with basic conditions.
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of local language is a plus.
