Education Project Manager West Bank

About the role

The Education Project Manager will lead the implementation and quality delivery of NRC’s Education portfolio across the West Bank, overseeing the full project cycle from design to learning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting and quality assurance of education projects to meet NRC and donor standards.
• Provide overall budget oversight, manage procurement, logistics, staffing and cash forecasting.
• Guide and mentor education teams and partners, strengthening technical capacity and promoting continuous learning.
• Contribute to needs assessments, programme design, proposals, emergency preparedness and strategic direction.
• Build effective relationships with donors, partners, government counterparts, clusters and communities.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience managing large, complex humanitarian or development projects.
• Senior‑level project management experience, including work with consortia or partnerships.
• Proven experience with development donors, compliance and reporting.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, planning, coordination and communication skills.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Deep understanding of the West Bank education sector, access restrictions and protection issues.

• Capacity building, coaching and mentoring of technical teams.
• Protection mainstreaming, child safeguarding and gender‑sensitive programming.
• Design and delivery of non‑formal, remedial and emergency education programmes.
• Implementation of psychosocial support within learning environments.
