Junior Testing Analyst – Web QA Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Testing Analyst to join our Web QA team. In this position you will design and execute manual test plans for web components of the Waze Mobile Application, ensuring high‑quality releases in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and run detailed manual test cases, checklists, and test plans aligned with product requirements.
• Perform health‑check, sanity, and regression testing for each web release cycle.
• Debug web‑specific issues, inspect elements, capture browser logs, and differentiate UI bugs from API failures.
• Track, reproduce, and close defects using the designated bug‑management tool.
• Validate browser‑based experiences that embed native app features within web pages.
• Support rapid, high‑frequency version deployments and continuous releases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to improve testability and share best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in manual web testing and QA methodologies.
• Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP).
• Ability to use browser DevTools and analyze network logs.
• Experience with defect‑tracking systems and end‑to‑end issue management.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
