MEAL Coordinator – Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a MEAL Coordinator to lead monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning activities for its occupied Palestinian Territory (oPt) country program. This role ensures that data and learning drive continuous improvement and evidence‑based design across operations in the West Bank and Gaza.

Key responsibilities

• Provide national leadership and oversight to achieve MEAL commitments for the oPt program.
• Design, implement and maintain robust monitoring, evaluation, accountability and data management systems from data collection to visualization.
• Strategically align and harmonize MEAL efforts across West Bank and Gaza operations, supporting partner approaches.
• Integrate MEAL principles into every stage of the project cycle.
• Deliver technical assistance, capacity‑building, mentoring and training on MEAL concepts to IRC staff and partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in MEAL within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong leadership and management skills to guide national MEAL activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with local partners and internal teams.
• Solutions‑driven mindset with a passion for improving program quality.
