Production Washroom Operator

About the role

The Production Washroom Operator works as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility, handling the safe and efficient movement of merchandise through the wash and dry cycles. The role ensures equipment is operated according to safety standards and that batches are processed accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect all machine safety devices before use and complete the required safety forms.
• Load washers and dryers using slings, verify batch tickets, and select appropriate formulas.
• Enter batch weight data into the SOFTROL system for washers.
• Unload cleaned items, manage batch tickets, and transport items to staging areas.
• Check moisture levels, temperature, and load conditions to ensure product quality.
• Identify and remove damaged slings, maintain a clean work environment, and follow best production practices.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete required training.
• Basic math skills for weight and measurement calculations.
• Attention to safety protocols and equipment inspection procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the SOFTROL production tracking system.
