Production Washroom Operator

About the role

The Production Washroom Operator works as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility, ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of merchandise through washing and drying cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect all machine safety devices before operation and complete the required safety forms.
• Load washers and dryers using slings, verify batch tickets, and stage similar batches for optimal utilization.
• Position equipment, select the appropriate wash/dry formula, and start cycles while recording batch information.
• Enter weight data into the SOFTROL system for washers and manage sling handling for dryers.
• Unload washers and dryers, verify moisture levels, re‑dry if necessary, and ensure items are properly cooled.
• Check that carts, tubs, and slings are not overloaded and that all equipment is clean and safe.
• Identify and remove damaged slings from the system.
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow best practices in all production activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal training instructions.
• Basic math skills for weight calculations.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the SOFTROL system for data entry.
