Revenue Analyst – Senior Accountant, Americas

About the role

The Senior Accountant – Revenue Accounting for the Americas region will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant revenue recognition for both recurring and non‑recurring services. You will work closely with billing, collections, operations, and finance teams to support the full revenue lifecycle in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support revenue accounting for Americas data‑center properties, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and corporate policies.
• Prepare high‑risk, complex journal entries and reconciliations; review entries prepared by team members.
• Analyze and present data‑driven financial analysis related to revenue performance, contract trends, and operational KPIs.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with revenue recognition and assist leadership with issue escalation.
• Maintain prescribed financial controls, close timelines, and processes to meet regulatory and internal requirements.
• Apply ASC 606 and ASC 842 to complex contracts, multi‑element arrangements, and recurring revenue models.
• Support internal and external audits, providing timely and accurate financial information.
• Drive transformation initiatives, including automation, reporting enhancements, and process streamlining.
• Participate in accounting software implementation and ensure data integrity across sub‑ledgers, ERP, and revenue tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Active CPA certification.
• 5+ years of progressive experience, with at least 1 year focused on revenue or lease accounting.
• Strong understanding of ASC 606, ASC 842, U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SOX compliance.
• Experience in a large, publicly traded company within data‑center, telecom, SaaS, or real‑estate industries is highly preferred.
