Accounts Receivable Representative

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Representative provides essential support to stores and commercial customers by managing credit accounts, processing payments, and resolving invoice discrepancies. This position ensures accurate account reconciliation and maintains strong communication with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide override authorizations and analyze customer credit accounts to support store operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer account and invoice issues in collaboration with store teams.
• Handle inbound customer calls, addressing payment posting errors, sales tax questions, invoice requests, and delinquent accounts.
• Communicate credit policies clearly to customers and conduct outbound collection calls for past‑due accounts.
• Post customer payments accurately, research account discrepancies, and reconcile accounts, including sales tax adjustments.
• Monitor delinquent accounts, maintain collection status in the collections system, and ensure timely follow‑up correspondence.
• Track and return assigned calls promptly to achieve high customer satisfaction.
