Egg Transfer Associate

About the role

The Egg Transfer Associate works on‑site in a hatchery environment, moving eggs from transport buggies to the setter machine. The position offers day‑one benefits, on‑the‑job training, and a competitive hourly wage.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑shift machine checks.
• Transfer a specified number of eggs from buggies into setter machines.
• Pull, push, roll and push heavy egg buggies (up to ~1,000 lbs).
• Clean and sanitize machines, floors, drains, baskets, and buggies.
• Follow all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and applicable local, state and federal regulations.
• Complete any additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Ability to work unsupervised and stay self‑motivated.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Strong work ethic, honesty and moral character.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hatchery or poultry experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with safety procedures.
