Facilities Supervisor

About the role

The Facilities Supervisor will oversee the maintenance, repair and cleanliness of IBEX GLOBAL’s office buildings and related properties. This role ensures that all equipment, infrastructure and services operate reliably while coordinating preventive‑maintenance programmes and external contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the Preventive Maintenance Program for assigned office buildings and other properties.
• Supervise site office helpers, housekeeping and janitorial services.
• Manage acquisition and distribution of office supplies, appliances, equipment, furniture and spare parts.
• Oversee repairs, rehabilitation and construction projects, including supervising external contractors and tradespeople.
• Perform minor repairs to infrastructure, plumbing, air‑conditioning, electrical systems, photocopiers and other equipment, escalating when beyond competency.
• Conduct daily walk‑throughs to identify and resolve or escalate emerging issues.
• Ensure continuous cleanliness of floors, carpets and waste removal on a regular schedule.
• Maintain inventories of spare parts, keys and lockers.
• Proactively initiate facilities improvement activities and projects.
• Liaise with the Site Director and Operations Managers on open issues and communicate unresolved service challenges to the Facility Manager.

Required profile

• Associate degree or diploma in Construction, Electrical or a related field.
• Supervisory Management Certificate.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience in facility management.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing operations.
• Professional attitude, strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently, follow‑through with minimal supervision, and handle physical tasks such as walking, standing and lifting semi‑heavy equipment.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules.
