Media Relations Coordinator (Junior)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Junior Media Relations Coordinator to support the communication outreach of EU policies across North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf. The role is part of a short‑term, on‑demand pool of experts that will work on a 36‑month project.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and coordination of press activities, including press trips, media briefings and press conferences.
• Liaise with journalists, media outlets and communication partners.
• Assist in preparing and distributing press releases, media advisories and press packs.
• Maintain and update media contact databases and distribution lists.
• Coordinate media logistics and accreditation for events.
• Monitor media coverage and help prepare press reviews and media reports.
• Assist communication teams with media outreach initiatives.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for media‑relations activities.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) in journalism, communication or media studies.
• Fluent English; French and/or Arabic are a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of general experience in media or press relations.
• At least 1 year of specific experience coordinating press activities such as press trips, press packs and journalist liaison.
