About the role
We are seeking a Principal Server Administrator to lead the modernization of our enterprise infrastructure. This senior technical authority will bridge legacy on‑premises environments with modern cloud‑native ecosystems, ensuring seamless hybrid operations across global sites.
Key responsibilities
- Design and enforce robust landing zones and standardized hub‑and‑spoke networks.
- Lead large‑scale on‑premises‑to‑cloud migrations and modernization initiatives.
- Conduct technical design reviews, manage incident escalations, and drive proof‑of‑concept projects.
- Define and apply security guardrails, architecture standards, and compliance controls (PCI, SOX, ISO 27001, etc.).
- Produce and review architecture and design documentation for hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.
Required profile
- 5+ years in enterprise infrastructure and cloud engineering, with 7+ years in a Wintel role.
- Strong hands‑on expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
- Proven ability to run independent projects and work in global, enterprise‑scale settings.
- Deep understanding of IT compliance and governance.

- Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), IAM
- Windows Server 2019/2025, SQL, backup solutions
- DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
- VMware ESXi, Hyper‑V
- AWS and Azure (IaaS, PaaS, cloud networking)
- Hybrid connectivity and security guardrails
- Observability platforms (Datadog, SolarWinds, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch)
- Veeam backup platform
- Relevant certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Microsoft 365, ITIL, Security)
