Associate Instructional Designer

About the role

The Associate Instructional Designer will design and implement training programs that meet business needs. Working closely with stakeholders and subject‑matter experts, you will assess learning gaps, create instructional materials, and manage the full lifecycle of courses.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps and define clear learning objectives.
• Develop course outlines, storyboards, scripts, and e‑learning assets such as videos, job aids, and interactive modules.
• Apply instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and learning theory to create effective learning experiences.
• Collaborate with SMEs, trainers, and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
• Manage instructional design projects, including timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication.
• Update and revise content based on learner feedback, SME input, or product changes.
• Deploy courses on a Learning Management System and track completion and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Prior experience in instructional design, e‑learning development, curriculum design, or teaching/training.
• Familiarity with instructional design models, learning theories, and educational psychology.
• Experience managing projects from inception to delivery, coordinating resources and timelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for content creation and collaboration.

Required skills

• Proficiency with e‑learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems (e.g., Lessonly, Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas).
• Ability to create multimedia assets using Adobe Photoshop, Audacity, or similar tools.
