Clean Tech Business & Value Chains Expert

About the role

NTU International A/S is building a pool of Clean Tech Business & Value Chains Experts to support the EU‑MENA Clean Tech Cooperation project. Selected experts will be mobilised on a short‑term, on‑demand basis to help private‑sector development, market analysis and value‑chain activities across clean technology sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse clean‑technology markets, business ecosystems and value chains.
• Map companies, investors, technology providers and other market actors.
• Identify business, trade and investment opportunities across EU‑MENA clean‑tech value chains.
• Support private‑sector engagement and business‑to‑business cooperation.
• Assess supply chains, local‑content opportunities and industrial development potential.
• Assist SMEs, start‑ups and innovators in accessing markets, partnerships and investment.
• Facilitate cooperation among companies, public authorities, investors, research institutions and innovation ecosystems.
• Conduct market studies, value‑chain analyses and business opportunity assessments.
• Support business matchmaking, investment promotion and stakeholder engagement activities.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in business, economics, engineering, innovation, international trade, energy or related field.
• Proven professional experience in clean technology, private‑sector development, value‑chain development, business development or investment promotion.
• Experience with renewable energy, energy efficiency, green hydrogen, storage, sustainable industry or related clean‑tech sectors (highly desirable).
• Experience working with private companies, SMEs, start‑ups, investors or business associations.
• Knowledge of EU‑MENA trade, investment and business cooperation (strong asset).
• Experience with EU‑funded programmes, international organisations or development finance institutions (advantageous).
• Excellent command of English; French and/or Arabic are a strong asset.

Required skills
