Deputy Field Coordinator for Programs – Gaza

About the role

Solidarités International is seeking a Deputy Field Coordinator for Programs to strengthen and expand its humanitarian response in the Gaza Strip. The role will support the delivery of water, sanitation, hygiene (WASH) and food security initiatives, ensuring that program activities are relevant, high‑quality, and aligned with donor and humanitarian standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise Program Managers and guide implementation teams throughout the project cycle.
• Lead project inception, proposal development, and ensure operational impact and quality of deliverables.
• Contribute to strategic planning, program development, monitoring, and reporting.
• Strengthen partnerships with local organizations and international donors.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure adherence to internal, donor, and humanitarian standards.
• Conduct in‑depth needs analyses at the community level and participate in activity reviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating humanitarian programs, preferably in WASH or food security.
• Ability to supervise and support multidisciplinary teams in a challenging environment.
• Strong understanding of project cycle management, monitoring, and reporting.
• Experience working with local partners and international donors.
• Capacity to ensure compliance with donor requirements and humanitarian standards.
