Head of Corporate Banking - Palestine

About the role

The Bank of Jordan is seeking an experienced Head of Corporate Banking to lead its corporate banking division in Palestine. This senior leadership position will shape strategy, drive growth, and manage high‑value client relationships across key market segments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the department’s strategic plan, annual objectives, business plans, and budget aligned with the Bank’s overall strategy.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Corporate Banking team to ensure high performance, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service.
• Drive business growth across assets and liabilities while maintaining a balanced risk profile.
• Oversee market research, identify opportunities, and support credit and business decisions.
• Build and maintain relationships with key corporate clients and financial institutions, delivering tailored banking solutions.
• Review and evaluate corporate credit applications, ensuring compliance with credit policies and sound recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Economics or related field; Master’s degree or professional certifications preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive corporate banking experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial leadership role.
• Proven experience managing relationships with large corporates and major economic enterprises.
• Excellent command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of corporate banking products and services.
• Extensive knowledge of corporate credit analysis, financial statement analysis, and lending practices.
• Sound knowledge of banking regulations, policies, governance, and risk management.
• Proficiency in banking systems and Microsoft Office applications.
