Junior Social Media Manager – Non-Key Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Junior Social Media Manager to join a pool of Non‑Key Experts supporting the EU’s communication outreach in the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf. The role is short‑term, on‑demand and focuses on strengthening the visibility and impact of EU policies through digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and update institutional social media accounts across multiple platforms.
• Create, schedule and publish engaging content that aligns with communication strategies.
• Support the implementation of digital communication campaigns and online engagement activities.
• Monitor social media performance and prepare analytics reports.
• Engage with online communities and assist audience outreach initiatives.
• Coordinate with communication teams, graphic designers and audio‑visual specialists to produce high‑quality digital content.
• Track social media trends and identify opportunities to improve audience engagement.
• Ensure all content complies with EU communication, branding and editorial guidelines.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) in communication or digital media.
• Fluent in English; French and/or Arabic are assets.
• At least 2 years of general experience in digital communication.
• Minimum 1 year of specific experience managing institutional social media accounts.
