Senior Events Manager – EU Communication Outreach

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Senior Events Manager to support the DG MENA communication outreach project on EU policies across North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf. The role involves planning, coordinating and delivering a range of high‑profile events that enhance the visibility and impact of EU initiatives in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and execute conferences, seminars, workshops, press events and public outreach activities.
• Manage all logistical aspects, including venue selection, participant registration and supplier coordination.
• Coordinate event schedules, speakers, moderators and technical service providers.
• Support protocol arrangements for high‑level EU officials, partner institutions and external stakeholders.
• Supervise on‑site implementation to ensure smooth delivery.
• Prepare and distribute event‑related communication materials and participant information.
• Assist with post‑event reporting, evaluations and lessons learned.
• Collaborate closely with communication teams, service providers and DG MENA throughout the event lifecycle.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent professional experience in event management, communication or hospitality.
• Fluent English; knowledge of French and/or Arabic is an asset.
• Minimum five years of general experience in event organisation and logistics.
• At least three years of specific experience managing institutional or communication events.
