Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Supervisor

About the role

Project HOPE, an international NGO, is recruiting an SRH Supervisor to supervise and coordinate sexual and reproductive health services under a funded healthcare project in Gaza. The role provides technical oversight, monitors programme implementation and supports capacity building of health staff in a complex humanitarian and emergency context. It reports to the Health & Nutrition Program Manager. The position is advertised contingent on award: recruitment proceeds as part of preparedness but no formal offer is made until funding is confirmed.

Key responsibilities

• Support a programme culture reflecting Project HOPE's humanitarian values and give technical guidance on clinical standards, protocols and ethics
• Supervise planning, implementation and monitoring of SRH services in Gaza, including workplans, schedules, staffing plans and adherence to clinical protocols for maternal health, family planning and adolescent health
• Monitor service delivery indicators, integrate emergency SRH response procedures and contribute to proposals
• Ensure compliance with Project HOPE guidelines, donor requirements and national regulations, and report accurately and on time to leadership, headquarters and donors
• Maintain patient records and clinical documentation, lead quality assurance visits and support donor monitoring visits and external evaluations
• Build staff capacity through coaching, mentoring and supportive supervision, and manage performance through measurable objectives and fair evaluations
• Manage the SRH team, including doctors, nurses, midwives and health promoters, and support recruitment and onboarding
• Support risk management, infection prevention, safeguarding and ethical standards, and maintain risk registers and incident reporting

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, Public Health or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 3-7 years of progressive experience in SRH programming or clinical service delivery, preferably in humanitarian or emergency contexts
• Demonstrated experience supervising SRH staff and managing field operations, and experience with donor-funded projects
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required
