Retention Associate – 2nd Shift

About the role

The Retention Associate works the 2nd shift (4:00 PM – 1:00 AM) to monitor and support probationary employees during their training period. The role includes conducting job previews for hourly applicants and helping identify training needs.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor employee progress through feedback meetings and discussions with supervisors.
• Identify training and development needs within the production department.
• Assist line leaders and supervisors in solving specific training challenges, individually or in groups.
• Partner with HR Coordinators or Recruiters to schedule and conduct job previews, explaining physical requirements and work environment.
• Instruct new hires on exercise activities designed to improve strength, endurance, and hardening during the first three days.
• Promote employee recognition throughout the production area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Basic computer and math proficiency.
• Willingness to work in hot, cold, or wet environments and stand for an eight‑hour shift.
• Flexibility to work non‑standard hours, including holidays, weekends, and extended shifts.
