School Principal (Fixed‑Term) – Hebron – 4 Vacancies

About the role

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) is seeking experienced School Principals for four fixed‑term positions at its Area Office in Hebron. The role is open to internal candidates and involves leading a UNRWA school to deliver inclusive, quality education to Palestine refugees.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and address training needs of school staff, coordinate professional development and monitor performance.
• Oversee delivery of inclusive education services in line with UNRWA policies.
• Engage parents and the community through effective communication mechanisms.
• Manage school administration including pupil registration, EMIS data entry, budgeting and resource utilisation.
• Maintain a safe, secure and effective learning environment.
• Implement monitoring, evaluation and assessment practices to maximise student potential.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Area Education Officer.

Required profile

• Current UNRWA staff eligible for internal recruitment.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience in an educational setting.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong commitment to UN core values of integrity, professionalism and respect for diversity.
• Experience in inclusive education, school budgeting and data management.
