Backend Developer

A fast-growing MedTech company based in the USA is looking for a Backend Developer to help build cutting-edge solutions. The role involves developing and maintaining the company's backend systems, working closely with the front-end team, and ensuring systems are secure, scalable and reliable. The position is listed as full time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the company's backend systems
• Collaborate with the front-end team to ensure seamless integration of all systems
• Write clean, efficient and well-documented code
• Take part in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
• Ensure all systems are secure, scalable and reliable

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in backend development
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Comfortable working with remote global team members

Required skills

• Java, JavaScript and Node.js; Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Spring Security
• Databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including schema design, queries and performance tuning
• RESTful API development
• Nice to have: HTML, CSS and JavaScript; AWS or Azure; Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, ClickUp, Jira, ClickUp, automated deployments and containerization; server administration
