Child Development Intern – Family Support & Consultation

About the role
Kydzzo is seeking a motivated Child Development Intern to assist the family support and consultation team. Working directly with Dr. Ahmed Sbeata, you will help families navigate professional guidance for their children, from intake to post‑consultation follow‑up.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct initial intake interviews with families to collect relevant child and family information.
- Prepare and organize clear case files and summaries for Dr. Ahmed before each consultation.
- Attend consultations to become familiar with each case and the recommendations provided.
- Document consultation notes, recommendations, action points, and required follow‑up tasks.
- Manage post‑consultation follow‑up, including sending messages, checking progress, and relaying updates to Dr. Ahmed.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and up‑to‑date records for each family.
- Communicate with parents and families professionally, empathetically, and respectfully.
- Ensure strict confidentiality and privacy of all child and family information.
Required profile
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Psychology (preferred), Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Strong interest in working with children and families.
- Excellent communication and active‑listening abilities.
- Comfortable communicating directly with parents and families.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and follow‑up tasks in an organized manner.
- Professional handling of sensitive information.
- Fluent in Arabic (written and spoken) and proficient in English (written and spoken).
