Child Protection and Advocacy Coordinator

About the role

The Child Protection and Advocacy Coordinator will lead technical expertise, safeguarding compliance and program quality for World Vision’s child protection initiatives at the zonal level in Nablus.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and implement child protection approaches in collaboration with CPA officers, providing technical support and training to volunteers, community members and partners.
• Support monitoring, evaluation and accountability processes, ensuring accurate data collection, quality reporting and timely flagging of concerns.
• Supervise and build capacity of CPA Officers, delivering coaching, mentoring and performance feedback.
• Assist in partner selection, organize learning events and contribute to personal and team development.

Required profile

• Degree in Social Science, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3‑4 years of experience in child protection/programming and at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience in capacity building, training of trainers and community‑led child protection initiatives.

Required skills

• Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and oral English communication.
• Driving licence and willingness to travel frequently in the field.
