Coordinator, Logistics

About the role

The Coordinator, Logistics leads the country Logistics and Supply Chain department, ensuring timely planning, acquisition, safe storage and delivery of project supplies, equipment and services for International Medical Corps operations. Working closely with Country Management, program teams and regional logistics, the role guarantees compliance with organizational, host‑country and donor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage country logistics and procurement activities, including emergency response.
• Provide technical oversight and supervision to logistics and supply‑chain staff.
• Oversee procurement, warehousing, stock, transport, fleet, assets and GIK reporting in line with policies and SOPs.
• Conduct initial and continuous logistics and supply‑chain assessments of the operational context.
• Liaise with the Security focal point to apply security protocols and mitigation measures.
• Participate in project planning, design and budgeting to ensure logistics resources are accounted for.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with country program strategy and preparedness plans.
• Support smooth implementation of IMC programs through coordination of procurement, dispatches and distribution.

Required profile

• Ability to maintain close contact with regional and global logistics teams for guidance and reporting.
• Capacity to perform essential logistics functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
